Women continue to play a pivotal role in the uprisings that spread across the Middle East since early 2011. The Vital Voices Global Partnership seeks to capture the stories of those who participated in the revolutions first hand, as well as of analysts.

National Public Radio is highlighting the Middle East Outreach Council’s 2010 Book Award winner Shooting Kabul for its February kids’ book club. The story follows Fadi, an eleven-year-old Afghan refugee living in California.
